How often do you lie? Why do you lie? Is it ever ok to lie? Are you good at knowing when other people are lying to you? According to some recent statistics, in the US, the average man lies six times a day while the average woman lies three. Does that make sense to you? Do you think there's a difference in how often we lie or why we lie if you separate it by gender? By age? By culture? By social class? Let's talk about lying!

In this club, we'll try to answer all the above questions. We'll look at real statistics and data about lying patterns for different groups of people. We'll try to be honest about our own lying patterns. We'll look at case studies and share our own experiences and thoughts.

Lying is, for better or for worse, a part of how we communicate. One might say it's a language all to itself. Let's have a fascinating discussion about something most people would agree is inherently wrong yet most people do it anyway, well over a thousand times a year!
